Earthman's Burden



In 1982 I acquired all film and ancillary rights to Poul Anderson and Gordon Dickson's delightful science fiction series Earthman's Burden.



My producing partner Jeff Walker immediately brought in his contacts throughout the Comic Con world and hired Michael Whelan to design the conceptual art. We quickly became the first producers hired by start up studio Tri-Star Pictures and continued to develop the epic tale with director Sydney Pollack, Robert Bloch,  and animatronic genius Rick Baker
